Strawberry Pie

Two French boys just stopped by my apartment in Estepa, Spain to ask for some sugar for a strawberry pie they're making. And to invite me to come eat it with them and a few friends. I'm pleased. :)

Hostel Food Post

I've been thinking about food. Here's a blog entry about the concoctions people in hostels pull together to save money while traveling.

For lunches I'm more inclined to make sandwiches, but the bit about an ungodly amount of pasta heaped with cheese for dinner is right on.

I'm not sure I agree with the bit about French travelers, but overall, it's pretty in line with my experience.

In any case, it's fun to think about food.
